executive administrative assistant
Reports To: Rector
Non-Exempt, Part-Time (20 hours per week)
SUMMARY: The Executive Administrative Assistant will proactively help the Rector (Senior Pastor) to focus on essential duties, while providing practical administrative support to the running of the church office.
OUR CHURCH IN THIS MOMENT: Cornerstone recently purchased two facilities and has relocated to one while doing major renovations on the other. We are averaging over 800 in weekly worship and are preparing to enter a new season of multi-parish ministry in the next year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide scheduling and correspondence assistance to the Rector.
Help to anticipate the Rector’s ministry needs, calendaring issues and assist with practical logistics.
Provide other administrative duties as needed. These include but are not limited to:
Answering the phone/responding to voicemails
Checking the Admin email account and responding as needed
Responding to website contact form submissions
Coordinating staff celebrations
Collecting and distributing mail
Light housekeeping around the office
Inventorying, ordering, stocking office supplies
Processing weekly donations
When we relocate back to our Harvard building, Admin will be the point of contact for building entry, receiving deliveries, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of administrative experience
Positive, proactive and non-anxious presence.
Must be completely trustworthy and maintain confidentiality about sensitive pastoral topics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Applications
Strong written and verbal skills
Organized and efficient at working on a variety of tasks, alongside staff and volunteers.

Readiness to become part of the Cornerstone community as expressed through weekly worship and openness to church membership.
