CORNERSTONE
STUDENTS
We believe that students deserve deep community and deep renewal; and we believe that through a life with Christ, the fullest possible life can be found (John 10:10).

At Cornerstone Students, we value fellowship and formation. Our rhythm is unique as it is consistent on a monthly basis and varies on a weekly basis.
Weekly and Monthly Rhythms
First and Third Sunday — Student Gathering
On the first Sunday of each month, we gather for Student Gathering, a time to study scripture together. These gatherings include a large group teaching, and then students will think about the word together in small groups, which are split up according to gender and grade.
Second Sunday — Student Sabbath
The second Sunday of the month is Student Sabbath — a time to pause our formal gatherings and encourage students, families, and leaders to honor the Sabbath by resting, reflecting, and spending intentional time with loved ones. There is no student gathering on this night.
Following Wednesday — Worship in the Round
On the Wednesday after Student Sabbath, we hold Worship in the Round, a special night of acoustic worship and prayer. It’s a beautiful time to slow down, seek God, and worship together in an intimate setting.
Fourth Sunday — Student Serve
The last Sunday of the month is dedicated to Student Serve, an evening where students engage in hands-on service projects in the community. Past projects have included updating playground equipment at Salk Elementary and other local outreach efforts.
Time & Location
Unless stated otherwise through the Remind app, all Student Gatherings happen from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Rockford (829 S Rockford Ave). Students should enter through the doors that are closest to Tenth Street.
Dinner is always provided at these gatherings, so come hungry!
Weekly Prayer
In addition to our evening gatherings, students are invited to meet every Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. at the front of the sanctuary for a short time of prayer together before worship.

Our goal is to launch followers of Christ into the world with a deep love for God, His word, and His people. Middle and high school students are invited to attend services on Sunday with their families or friends to help them realize their part in the body of Christ as well as the value of corporate worship with others.
